Craig Moncrief joined Plank Law Firm, LPA, in 2018 after working at a boutique real estate and trusts and estates firm in Dublin, Ohio. Craig’s practice is primarily in zoning/land use; real estate development, including lot splits, annexation, and eminent domain; and assisting on real estate transactions, including real estate purchase agreements, leases, easements, deeds, and closings. He works with real estate developers, home builders, and land owners through the zoning, subdivision, platting, and development phases of proposed mixed-use, multi-family and single family residential, commercial (retail and office), and industrial developments.
He regularly counsels developers, purchasers, and land owners on development and entitlement strategy and presents matters on rezonings, annexations, zoning violations, development plans, variances, and conditional use applications before various township, county, and municipal boards, including city councils, township trustees, county commissioners, boards of zoning appeals/adjustment, planning commissions, and area commissions and neighborhood groups. Craig further represents land owners through the eminent domain process and has negotiated settlements over $500,000.
Craig attended and graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2012 and graduated from the University Of Miami School Of Law in 2015. Craig is licensed to practice law in Ohio and New Jersey.
